Patricia A. Garbutt
(October 21, 1939 - May 11, 2008)
Patricia A. Garbutt, 68, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away Sunday evening, May 11, 2008, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Lancaster, OH, to the late Wesley C. and Margaret Kisor and had resided in this area for the past 22 years. Pat, along with her husband, Ted, moved to this area from St. Clair, Michigan and founded Laguna Beach Christian Retreats, where many thousands of young lives have been changed. Pat's special passions in life were her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, her loving family, and her ministry and service through the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat. She was a member of the Panama City Christian Center.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Edgar (Ted) Garbutt of Panama City Beach, her children, David Haas of Panama City, FL, Michelle Lather and husband Brantley, of Midland, MI, Christine Zaslavsky and husband, Arthur, John Haas and wife, Denae, Shelly Hikaide, Wesley Garbutt, all of Panama City Beach, FL, and David Garbutt of Lake Worth, FL, her sisters, Kay Willison and husband, Dick, of Panama City Beach, and Vicky Shaffer of Lancaster, OH, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services to celebrate Pat's life and eternal homecoming will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at 10:00 AM at the Southerland Family Chapel with Dr. Warren Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
