Laguna Beach Christian Retreat

We are a resort located in Panama City Beach, Florida, for Christian groups and families.
Our facility is located on the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico on the west end of the beach. This is a quiet, uncrowded area of the beach which helps to provide the proper spiritual climate for ministry.

Our ministry is to promote an atmosphere of personal attention and Christian love and to serve Christian leadership in any way we can, so that young and old may mature in Christ.

Patricia A. Garbutt, co-founder of Laguna Beach Christian Retreats went to be with the Lord on Mothers Day, May 11, 2008.

Along with her husband Ted, she founded Laguna Beach Christian Retreat in 1986.

We now have wi-fi at the Gulfside property.

New deck and siding for Jacob and Esau Houses.

The Cottage property has a new look. All Cottages have been painted.

New sidewalk at the Cottages main pool.

New paint for the Bethlehem Dorm bunks.

Galilee Dorm rooms have new carpet, new bunk beds with luggage storage under bunks, new vanities, and new ceramic tile in bathrooms.

The Promised Land has new carpet and we have painted the ceiling black. The a/c has been updated and the duct work over the stage has been moved to the sides. We put in a privacy hall for the restrooms, and also made the storage closet smaller.
